Welcome to Arbroath Round Table.
Make Friends, Have A Laugh, Do Some Good
The Round Table isn’t a mysterious society characterised by secret handshakes and hidden agendas. Come along to a meeting and you will find just a normal bunch of guys from all walks of life.
Ask Tablers why they joined Table, and you will get a variety of different answers. For many it is the social aspect – they want to widen their circle of friends, or have moved to a new area and find it a great way to build up a new social network. For others, existing friends are already Tablers, and ask them along to give it a go.
The real attraction of The Round Table Movement, however, goes far beyond this. Because what Tablers find, once they become members, is a unique combination of elements that you simply can’t find in any other club.
The Round Table is all about trying a diverse range of fun activities that you wouldn’t normally do as an individual, with a group of people from different backgrounds, that you wouldn’t normally meet. You can learn all sorts of new skills, while making a socially responsible difference to your local community, and it’s not just local — it’s a global movement, with clubs in more than 65 countries, on every continent on the world.
Members of Round Table can be from 18 to age 45 and are drawn from all sorts of occupations, social and ethnic groups, and backgrounds. It’s this diversity that makes the Round Table experience so valuable
The Round Table is non-religious, non-political and non-sectarian and there is no uniform or fancy dress.
